Assignments piling up...

Currently, because of examination running during the week, recent assignments are left on standby and their due dates postponed, so that we'd be more focused on the exam subjects.

The assignments that piled up so far are:

1) Report for marine engineering workshop on Gate valve and Centrifugal Pump.

2) Report for electrical technology on troubleshooting of Transistors and diodes, and

3) Naval architecture structure question assignment.

EXAM WEEK COMING...

Starting the first of May, we'll start our exam week for phase 2, according to the schedule below:

3rd of May - Electrical Technology exam

5th of May - Industrial Gas Turbine exam

7th of May - Technical Mathematics exam

8th  of May - Naval Architecture exam

10th of May - General Engineering Knowledge exam

12th of May - Mechanical Science exam

13th of May - Islamic Religious Knowledge exam

after this, the promised long break(finally), probably......

Busy Week

This week turns out to be one of the busy week in my group course, packed with exams, tests, practicals and presentation. Yesterday on the 8th of April, we have our Workshop Engineering theory and material handling (WEM) exam during the evening starting at 2.15. It was a two hour exam and so far I have done satisfyingly enough effort for that exam.

Today will have a practical on Electrical workshop in the power lab on building circuits, moreover, in the evening will have some sort of "practical work" for MIB. The next day, on Thursday, we'll probably have a maths test on Differentiation topic.

Finally, by Saturday, we'll complete our practical for Mechanical science on determining the coefficient of friction on inclined plane. Then by near the end of that day, I will have to carry out a presentation for LnC as part  of our course base assignment.

Exam delayed and continued...

Yesterday, on the 25th March, we were supposed to have both exams for General Engineering Knowledge (G.E.K) and Mechanical Science (Msc) but actually we had only G.E.K exam while Msc examination is delayed for a day and its going to be held on Wednesday, that is today on the 26th of March during evening.

This was reasoned so to give us time to revise intensively, also having some recaps for the subject with our subject instructor.

So we have now done with G.E.K exam 1 which was delayed 11 days ago. The exam was quite easy to me, I believe, so I expect for me to get high score for this one.

On other note:

We will have no more IT class, which will later on will be taken by our Electrical Workshop class bu this blog will continue on, recording events happening around me in our college.

SCHOOL BREAK ASSIGNMENTS 

During this ten days period school break, we were ask to finish up our assignments, mainly for LnC presentation slides and Electrical workshop report which is due on the 24th and the 25th of March respectively. 

We were suppose to have two more assignments for this holiday for Electrical technology and Engineering Drawing subject but somehow, our instructor must have forgotten. So lucky us have been reduced the load of work during holidays.

On other note: Starting school reopen, we will have an LnC presentation slides check up followed by two exam for MSC and GEK both are crucial subjects. GEK exam 1 was suppose to be held on the 13th of March however was delayed because some students nagging it was too much to quick for them to prepare. Lastly, we have finished IT application subject. The practical test on the 12th on database was easy.

EXAM ON G.E.K AND IT DATABASE TEST

During this week, there will be two things going on, one the IT test on the managing of database software which will happen probably on the 12th of this March, and second, G.E.K or General engineering knowledge on ships first phase test exam which will take place on the 13th of this month.

The IT test will be the first and last test and after that there will be no more test or assignment from it as we were given time to fully focus on the upcoming big exam on March for some of the course's subjects. 

The G.E.K first exam on the 13th, will cover up what we learn from the first month of this year, topic from, Ship's steering gear systems to Lubrication and oil treatments. Both topics are a big topic with many subtopics below it. Right now, we are 60% finish in the study and I'm doubting we have even enough time to cover all of it before the exam on the 13th if our instructor can make up the time.

LATE POST:
MKJB OPEN DAY

On the 27th of February (Thursday) and on the 1st of March (Saturday) the college held out and event called MKJB opening day, where parents and students from other schools can visit to know more about the courses there is in MKJB. On the other hand, while walking around the school, they can enjoy the funfair activities prepared by the students in the college.
