NEW YEAR WELCOMING ASSIGNMENT

New assignment after the long month of school break for mathematics. The assignment ask us to make a CLINOMETER, which is a DIY device used to measure the angle of elevation of an object to determine the height of the object.

Things needed: 

1- Piece of cardboard

2- 90 degree protractor

3- string and load

4- straw or laser pointer

The device should be assembled like this :

How it works, measure the incline angle of a tall object from 0 degree, record the angle.

Measure your body height to your eye level. 

Measure the angle of decline to the bottom of the tall object from your eye.

Record your distance from where you measure the angle.

Put your distance and angles in a triangular form , from where then you can calculate using basic TRIGONOMETRY.

We are instructed to record down our findings and body height to the eyes sight and wrote down a report for our findings before submission. The due is on the 16th of January
