A BUSY MONTH

Its been a busy month here in MKJB, for some students and instructors, partly because of the National Day of the country's celebration as most students, around 13 of them from each class, from each course I believe, joined in the marching performance and now they are training hard and missing class lessons. And our phase test exam is around the corner, yet we haven't learned enough. I guess its time to be independent. :)

But sadly there was not much lesson at all since the teachers/instructors in MKJB are also busy about the converting of MKJB college into BMA/ Brunei Maritime Academy, and it sounds cool. The conversion of MKJB to BMA  was supposed to be for another two years time but the ministry had made their mind and insist it to be done now. I was said now in February that it is already  "official" that MKJB is now BMA.

BMA is more like a college that focus more on the course related to marine engineering and maritime. It had collaboration with the Singaporean Maritime Acedemy if i haven't misheard. 

In this year, the existing in the marine engineering students was to be the first batch in BMA. I heard something about that, if we did well, we'll be off to study in Singapore and so forth.

I'm really looking forward to it.
